Writing lyrics and composing and performing educative songs at different events within the camp, are my daily activities. As well as reading novels both at school and home level. My dream is to become the most popular artist in the world who uses the power of music to transform and educate the world. I dream of advocating women rights and promoting girl child education globally.  My name is Emmanuel Adam. I am 23 years old and I arrived in Kakuma refugee camp in January 2007. Due to war and the random killing of citizens in my home country Uganda, my family was forced to run away to safety and ended up in Kenya. With my daily activities (songs, lyrics, novels) I always gain skills and knowledge that helps me to expand my thinking capacity. Best about Kakuma are the job opportunities that are available for the youths in the camp. And best about Kakuma are the people that I meet every day from different backgrounds and work places. The UHNCR and the Kenya policy on incentive staff (including payment for incentive workers) is what I dislike about Kakuma. My biggest goals is to make sure I involve many refugee youths in taking part in action that can help develop and improve their community. Kakuma is not safe for me and my entire family. I would like to leave this place and go somewhere else where I will never hear any sound of guns and never ever see any blood any more of human sacrifice
